New Delhi: A Singapore-based international school group is planning to establish more than 24 schools across India as part of its expansion strategy, aiming to bring global education practices and Singapore-inspired learning approaches to Indian students.

The proposed expansion comes amid rising demand for international curricula, technology-driven education and skill-based learning programmes across the country. The new campuses are expected to focus on academic excellence, innovation, holistic development and preparing students with skills relevant to a changing global environment.

The school group has been expanding its presence across Asia and other international markets, with institutions offering modern teaching methodologies and globally aligned educational frameworks. The India expansion is expected to provide students with greater exposure to international learning standards while creating opportunities for collaboration between Indian and Singaporean educators.

India and Singapore have been strengthening cooperation in education and skill development sectors. In August, both countries highlighted progress in vocational training initiatives, including the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for advanced manufacturing in Chennai by ITE Education Services.

The planned expansion is part of the broader growth of international education networks in India, where parents and students are increasingly seeking globally oriented schooling options.

Singapore-based Global Schools Group, the parent organisation of Global Indian International School, already operates campuses across several Asian countries and the United Kingdom. The group’s proposed India expansion is expected to further increase access to international-style education while contributing to the country’s evolving private education landscape.
