Kalyan girl Trisha Sonawane wins Little Miss India 2026 title

Kalyan: Seven-year-old Trisha Sonawane from Kalyan has won the ‘GMI Little Miss India of the Year 2026’ title at the Global Model India – Alpha GenZ 2026 competition, earning a chance to represent India at an international contest in Bali.

The competition was held at the Symbiosis Auditorium in Pune and featured child performers and models from India and other countries. Trisha and Reva Dighe from Maharashtra, along with Ananya Meher from Odisha, were selected to represent India at the international event.

A student of Holy Cross School, Trisha works as a child actor and model. She has previously won titles at various modelling shows and has appeared in television programmes, advertisements and acting projects.

She is currently undergoing acting training at Swanand Creation and is also learning Kathak at Ravindra Vidya Kala Mandir under the guidance of Smita Tai.

Trisha’s achievement has been supported by show director Amar Sonawane, who has guided her throughout her journey, as well as her parents, Mangesh and Rajshree Sonawane.

With the national title secured, Trisha is now preparing for the international competition in Bali, where she will join fellow young talents Reva Dighe and Ananya Meher in representing India.
