Navi Mumbai: Purnima Bisht Mukherjee, a finance professional and trained Kathak dancer from Vashi, Navi Mumbai, has earned the prestigious title of ‘Mrs. Style Icon’ at the recently concluded ‘Mrs. India – Empress of the Nation 2024’, Season 5, held in Pune. In addition to securing a place among the top 8 contestants, Purnima also won accolades as ‘Best Speaker’ and ‘Best Dressed’ at the event, organized by DIVA Pageants under the leadership of Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas.

Born and raised in Dehradun, Purnima is an MBA graduate from IMT Ghaziabad. Alongside her career in finance, she is a professional Kathak dancer and a trained Yoga practitioner. Currently, she conducts both online and offline dance classes for all age groups, while also pursuing her passion for fashion and style. Recently, she relocated to Pune to further her career and fulfill her aspirations.

Purnima's journey has been marked by her participation in various activities, including reaching the top 5 in the online reality show *Roadies Battleground*, promoting her Pahadi culture through a music album, and honing her skills in articulation, modulation, and stage presence. Her dedication to social causes is evident through her involvement with the "Little Heart Group," an initiative that provides meals and basic necessities to the poor and disabled.

As a mother of a seven-year-old, Purnima embraces challenges with a desire for self-discovery, guided by her life mantra: "learn, unlearn, and relearn."

My constant efforts towards personal growth have led me to achieve the prestigious title of 'Mrs. Style Icon.' I remain committed to being genuine and true to myself, inspiring others to pursue their passions with integrity.” She added, “I have always stayed motivated to embrace my unique style and express myself with confidence, believing in the importance of developing one's own sense of fashion.
