ULMC organizes review meeting on voting awareness

In a bid to bolster voting awareness ahead of the Lok Sabha General Election 2024, Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation orchestrated a significant review meeting. The event, which transpired on Thursday, March 28, was convened in the Standing Committee Hall, owing to the collaborative efforts of the Samagra Shiksha Department and Election Department.

The meeting, sanctioned by the Collector, aimed to rally the Headmasters/Principals from all schools and colleges within Ulhasnagar to amplify voting consciousness among students and faculty members alike.

Chaired by the esteemed Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Subhash Jadhav, the meeting witnessed the participation of key officials including Administration Officer, Deepak Dhangar, Election Department Head, Vishal Kadam, and Comprehensive Punishment Department Officer, Smt. Sangeeta Lana.

With the fervent spirit to foster a robust democratic ethos, the attendees deliberated on strategies to effectively disseminate information regarding the importance of voting and the mechanics of participation in the electoral process.

Furthermore, discussions centered on innovative methods to engage the youth demographic, leveraging educational institutions as pivotal platforms for propagating electoral awareness.
