Political heavyweights unite in Panvel to rally support for Srirang Appa Barne in Maval Lok Sabha constituency

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Republican Party of India (RPI), Peasants and Workers Party of India (PRP), and Rastriya Samaj Paksha (Rasp) convened at Koliwada in Panvel on Thursday night. The agenda: bolstering support for Srirang Appa Barne, the official candidate for the 33rd Maval Lok Sabha Constituency.

The meeting, held amidst fervent anticipation, witnessed the convergence of influential figures from the political spectrum. Notably, Member of Parliament Shrirang Barne, hailed as an emblem of the city's ethos and revered akin to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dr. Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar, was honoured during the gathering.

Attendees included key strategists and leaders from the BJP's Maval Lok Sabha Election machinery, underscoring their unwavering support for Barne's candidacy. MLA Prashant Thakur, the BJP's Maval Lok Sabha Election Chief, led the charge alongside Regional Member Balasaheb Patil and Uttar Raigad District President Avinash Koli.

Shiv Sena, an integral ally in the electoral landscape, demonstrated unity with Barne's candidacy. District Chief Ramdas Shewale, General Secretary Adv. Prakash Binedar, and Yuva Morcha's District President Mayuresh Netkar echoed the sentiment, affirming their commitment to the alliance's shared objectives.
