Triptii Dimri has officially replaced Deepika Padukone as the female lead opposite Prabhas in Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The casting follows Deepika’s reported exit over scheduling demands and creative differences, including an eight-hour workday, a Rs 20 crore fee, and opting out of Telugu dubbing.

Triptii, who gained national attention after Animal, reunites with Vanga for this pan-world film produced by T-Series, set to begin shooting in 2025. Meanwhile, Deepika is set to star in Siddharth Anand’s crime thriller King alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
