Indian fashion quotient was unequivocally displayed at G20 Dinner meet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu

Indian fashion quotient is no longer Indian, it crossed the boundary of the country and was treasured by none other than Global leaders and their spouses- the Sartorial statement is once again felt at the G20 Summit held in Delhi in September 9 and 10 2023.

Indian sarees and desi outfits were stunningly visible at the G20 Summit Dinner hosted by President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu. Foreign delegates went Desi donning Indian traditional ensembles especially sarees, kurta, bandhgala at Bharat mandapam during the Dinner hosted by President Droupadi Murmu for the G20 Summit in Delhi ,displaying their love for the ethnicity  of the country ‘Bharat’.  

The first lady of Japan Fumio Kishida preferred to wear a green colour exclusive saree with Golden embellishment complemented her outfit wearing pink satin blouse, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva stole the show donning in purple kurta-trouser while her deputy Gita Gopinath chose to wear a blue and red saree. Nadia Calvino, Vice President of Spain was seen in a cream cord set with a flowery satin yellow front-open blouse. Giorgia Meloni, Italy's Prime Minister, looked striking in a magnificent black kurta with a mauve Giorgia Meloni. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as usual displayed her   Jamdani in Lilac contemplating pearl necklace.  

The spouses of world leaders flaunted their styles lovingly following the ‘desi’ fashion like fresh floral Gajara worn by Tshepo Motsepe the wife of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Donning a  Chikan sari by Kobita Jugnauth , the wife of Mauritian PM Pravind Jugnauth who was seen in a Bandhgala added a special attraction in the guest list.
