Thane News: Thane Zilla Parishad ranks first Office Assessment – 100-Day Action Program

Thane: Thane Zilla Parishad (TZP) has secured the first position in the state-wide Office Assessment – 100-Day Action Program. CEO Rohan Ghughe was felicitated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde at a ceremony held at Mantralaya, Mumbai.

The campaign, conducted jointly by the Maharashtra government and the Quality Council of India, evaluated offices based on work efficiency, transparency, citizen engagement, and timely service delivery. Thane Zilla Parishad scored 92 out of 100 marks.

Key innovations initiated by the zilla parishad include: Doorstep Delivery, Disha Initiative, e-Office, scheme application portal, e-Kamwatap, employee e-records system, use of AI in governance and a robust grievance redressal system.

Over 3,000 citizens in 431 gram panchayats received government documents directly at home. Under Disha, AI-based assessments improved language and math learning levels for 72,473 students across 1,328 schools. As part of e-Office all files have been digitally managed with a goal of resolving cases within seven days. Under e-Kamwatap (Digital Work Allocation), projects are distributed using a lottery system to ensure fairness.
