Major disaster averted due to the vigilance of citizens

On Tuesday, June 25th, around 9:00 a.m., citizens experienced a terrifying incident when a tempo truck, engulfed in flames, raced through the busy market area in Uran City. This disastrous situation created fear among residents, and the exact cause of the fire remains unclear.

Uran Taluka, situated close to Mumbai, hosts important projects of both the central and state governments. While the safety of these projects remains a critical concern, citizens witnessed the alarming sight of a burning tempo truck racing through the bustling market area of Uran City.

However, thanks to the vigilance of the residents of Uran, a major disaster was averted. As soon as the fire brigade received information about the incident from the residents, fire fighters immediately reached the spot and their efforts helped extinguish the fire. It is still unknown what cargo the burning tempo truck was carrying that led to such a situation.
