Sanpada: Citizens and commuters in Sanpada are voicing frustration over the deteriorating infrastructure at the local station. Over the years, conditions have worsened, leading passengers to criticize the neglect from Central Railway and CIDCO.
Regular commuter Aditya Sahay highlighted, "All fans across the station platforms have been turned off, ostensibly due to safety concerns during rainy weather when pillars become wet. However, the main issue remains the aging architecture and gaps in the station's roof."
Resident Chaitanya Mhatre echoed concerns, noting, "Pillars covered in green moss and algae indicate persistent leaks from the roof. During heavy rain, water spills onto the platforms, posing risks for passengers."
Commuters unanimously urge Central Railways and the Union Ministry of Railways to enhance station facilities under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to address these pressing issues.
