These historical coins will help citizens learn about history. The study of the collection of coins is known as numismatics.

Vijay Vikhrankar, an expert in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's history and numismatist (coin collector) delivered a lecture at the exhibition.

Coins of copper, zinc, lead, aluminium, and historical coins from the 6th century, and 12th century were on display along with Taal Patra, Shivrai coins, and gold coins.

The history of the forts of Singhad, Ramshej, Salher, Dhodap, Raigad Manore, Kalavatidurg, Karnala, Harihar, and Torna, was presented.

The exhibition will be followed by the Rajgad Darshan ceremony where the residents will perform an aarti to honour Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The children of the society acted as guides of this fort and informed visitors about Rajgad’s historical importance. A lecture and quiz was also organised at the event.

Children have diligently worked and the society’s residents helped them in making the replica of the fort.
