Panvel News: PMC organises free acting training camp

Panvel: A seven-day acting training camp has been organized in Panvel in collaboration with Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad, Panvel branch. The camp will start from May 23 at PMC’s Adi Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Theatre.
PMC has taken the initiative and organized the free acting training camp to provide proper training to the theatre artists in Panvel to develop the qualities required for acting. This camp is being held from May 23 to May 30.
The Natya Parishad continuously implements various activities to provide a big platform to the theatre artists of PMC. The acting camp will be held in two groups jointly by PMC and Akhil Bharatiya Natya Parishad Branch Panvel. The first group is for ages 8 to 16 and the second group is for ages 16 to 60. This acting camp will be held for seven days in two phases, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Each group will each have 30 trainees.
The camp will be guided by eminent personalities from the theatre and cinema fields including Sanjay Haldikar (Solapur), Ravi Dhutadamal (NSD Delhi), Sanket Khedkar (NSD Delhi), Amol Bhave (Thane) etc. and other veteran artists. On the last day, there will be a performance by all the participating campers. The closing ceremony will be held on May 30.
