Thane: Water supply will be temporarily suspended in several areas of Thane due to work on a new 600 mm outlet water channel at Siddheshwar Jalkumbh in the Uthalsar Ward Committee limits. The pipeline needs to be relocated, prompting a 24-hour water cut from 9:00 am on Thursday, March 12, to 9:00 am on Friday, March.

Affected areas include Siddheshwar Lake, Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar, Ganeshwadi, Nitin Company, Pachpakhadi, Sarovar Darshan, Chandanwadi, Hansnagar, Singnagar, Khopat, Flower Valley, Shelar Pada, Gokuldaswadi, Kolbad, Gokulnagar, and parts of Naupada Ward, including Pachpakhadi, Chandanwadi, the Municipal area, Charai, and Dhobiali.

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has urged residents to use water judiciously and cooperate during the temporary disruption.
