Kalyan: Concerned about the deplorable state of roads in Kalyan East, MLA Sulabha Gaikwad took proactive steps by repeatedly writing to Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) Commissioner Abhinav Goyal, demanding action. Due to delays from the civic administration, citizens faced considerable inconvenience.

In response to her persistent follow-up, road repair work has now begun in Kalyan East. She personally inspected the ongoing roadworks.

“As a public representative, I have continually followed up on this matter and will keep doing so. It is my duty to ensure justice for the common people, and I will continue to carry out this responsibility with sincerity,” said MLA Sulabha Gaikwad.

Repairs have started on Shri Malang Road, with additional projects underway in other areas. Work will soon begin in Chinchpada, U-Type, and Nandivali, ensuring that all roads in the Kalyan East legislative constituency are free from potholes.

Gaikwad said that the administration must prioritise public welfare and address such issues promptly.
