Kalyan: Under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) for the year 2025–26, urban health centres run by the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) have been honoured with state-level Kayakalp awards.

Dattanagar Urban Health Centre has secured sixth rank in Maharashtra and first in the area. Maharashtra Nagar Urban Health Centre bagged the 2nd rank within the municipal region. Meanwhile, Madhavi and Manjunath Urban Health Centres received incentive awards.

Following this achievement, Dr Adhvaryu Gaurkar and team from Dattanagar UHC, Dr Bharti Patil and team from Maharashtra Nagar UHC, former medical officer Dr Poornima Dhake and team from Madhavi UHC, and Dr Madhuri Solanke and team from Manjunath UHC were congratulated by Dr Deepa Shukla, medical health officer, KDMC, said.
