Labour leader Santosh Gharat raises concerns
The ongoing delay in the construction work of Gavan Railway Station, a crucial link on the Uran-Kharkopar railway route connecting Navi Mumbai, has resulted in significant inconvenience for passengers in the Jasai and Chirle areas.
Considered an essential hub in the Uran-Kharkopar railway network, the Gavan Railway Station's construction has been progressing at a sluggish pace, causing frustration among commuters. Despite the recent inauguration of the Uran-Kharkopar railway line by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the completion of Gavan Railway Station remains pending, leading to operational difficulties.
Uran, a progressive taluka situated in close proximity to Mumbai city, has witnessed a surge in connectivity with the inauguration of the Uran-Kharkopar railway line. However, the incomplete state of Gavan Railway Station has disrupted the seamless flow of transportation, particularly for residents of Jasai and Chirle.
Labour leader Santosh Gharat has raised concerns over the prolonged delay in the construction work of Gavan Railway Station, emphasizing the urgency of expediting the project. Gharat has demanded swift action from the railway administration to address the inconvenience faced by commuters in the affected areas.
