CM Eknath Shinde unveils interim plans for Maharashtra Bhavan Project in Vashi

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde revealed the ambitious interim plans for the Maharashtra Bhavan project during a gathering at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai. This project aims to erect a majestic Maharashtra Bhavan in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, fulfilling a longstanding demand.

During the meeting, MLA Manda Mhatre expressed her elation upon witnessing the interim presentation showcasing the magnificent architecture of the forthcoming Maharashtra Bhavan. Spanning 14 floors, the Bhavan is set to feature an array of amenities, including reception rooms, dining areas, professional spaces, banquet halls, suite rooms, and multiple cafes for visitors to enjoy.

Emphasizing the significance of the project, MLA Manda Mhatre asserted that the Maharashtra Bhavan will serve as a symbol of pride for the state, with a striking statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj gracing its façade. She stressed the importance of honoring Maharashtra's revered icon and ensuring that the Bhavan stands as a testament to the state's rich cultural heritage.

Expressing gratitude towards Chief Minister Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister, CIDCO Managing Director, and other officials for their unwavering support, MLA Manda Mhatre highlighted that the allocation of plots by CIDCO for state-wise buildings in Vashi has paved the way for addressing the accommodation needs of citizens from various regions of Maharashtra.

Furthermore, she outlined the benefits of the Maharashtra Bhavan, stating that it will alleviate accommodation challenges faced by individuals visiting Mumbai for competitive exams and job recruitment. She emphasized that the establishment of the Bhavan will not only benefit Navi Mumbai but the entire state, providing much-needed accommodation and facilities to residents and visitors alike.
