CM Eknath Shinde offers prayer at Vitthal Rukmini temple on Ashadhi Ekadashi

Pandharpur: On the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde worshiped Lord Vitthal at the Vitthal Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur. The ceremony marked a significant spiritual moment for devotees and dignitaries alike.

 Balu Shankar Ahire and Ashabai Shankar Ahire, farmers from Satana taluka in Nashik district, were honoured with the opportunity to participate as honorary warkaris in the official puja. Chief Minister Shinde expressed his gratitude for the privilege of performing the puja alongside them, highlighting the importance of such traditions in Maharashtra's cultural heritage.

During the ceremony, Chief Minister Shinde bowed before Lord Vithuraya and offered prayers for the well-being of the people of the state. He prayed for relief from hardships for farmers, prosperity for Maharashtra, plentiful rains, and overall well-being. He also expressed his determination to continue serving the people with the same dedication and vigour that he has demonstrated over the past three years.

Present at the occasion were Chief Minister Shinde's father, Sambhaji Shinde, his wife Lata Shinde, son MP Dr. Srikant Shinde, daughter-in-law Vrishali Shinde, grandson Rudransh, as well as ministers Girish Mahajan, Tanaji Sawant, Chandrakant Patil, and Deepak Kesarkar. Members of the Shinde family and numerous devotees joined in the worship, making the event a deeply enriching experience for all.
