CM, Deputy CMs bid farewell to outgoing Governor Ramesh Bais

Indian Navy gives Guard of Honour
Outgoing Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais was given a heartfelt farewell at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, on July 30th. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with senior government officials, honoured Governor Bais and his wife Rambai Bais with shawls, bouquets, and mementos. Governor Bais expressed gratitude for the cooperation extended to him during his tenure.
The farewell event was attended by Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, DGP Rashmi Shukla, Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, and ACS Protocol Manisha Mhaiskar.
Following the farewell, the Indian Navy provided a ceremonial Guard of Honour to Governor Bais before his departure for Raipur.
The new Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, will be sworn in at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan Mumbai, at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
