Navi Mumbai: The much-awaited draw for CIDCO's housing lottery, initially announced on Republic Day with 3322 houses in Taloja and Dronagiri nodes, is set to take place on July 16th. After a series of delays due to electoral codes of conduct, CIDCO has finally confirmed the date for the draw at CIDCO Bhavan, starting at 11 am.

The lottery scheme, aimed at providing affordable housing solutions, saw applications flooding in until the deadline of April 16th. Originally planned for April 19th, the draw was postponed first due to Lok Sabha election protocols and then further delayed by Legislative Council election regulations. Now, post the Legislative session, CIDCO has fixed July 16th as the definitive date for the draw.

According to CIDCO officials, the list of successful applicants will be released on the same day at 6 PM, bringing relief to anxious applicants who have been waiting for the outcome for several months. Refunds for unsuccessful applicants will be processed starting July 29th.
