Navi Mumbai: CIDCO has announced the development of a 374-hectare Integrated Logistics Park (ILP) near Chirle Village in Pushpak Node, aimed at transforming Navi Mumbai into a national logistics hub. The initiative leverages the city’s strategic location near Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), and major connectivity projects, including the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Multi-Modal Corridor, and Dedicated Freight Corridor.
The project will include essential infrastructure, social amenities, utility networks, and a well-planned primary road network with 45-metre and 30-metre wide roads. CIDCO has divided the master plan into seven logistics zones, ensuring seamless connectivity across all parcels.
As part of Phase 1, CIDCO has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) through competitive bidding for 12 plots in Land Parcel L1, spanning approximately 72 hectares (179.29 acres). CIDCO will develop trunk infrastructure, including roads, water supply, sewerage, and stormwater drainage. Successful applicants will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CIDCO outlining terms of land acquisition and payment.
The ILP will support logistics and allied activities under the Maharashtra Logistics Policy, including warehousing, light industries, container freight stations, inland container depots, and other logistics-related infrastructure.
Vijay Singhal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO, said, “Through the ILP, CIDCO aims to create a future-ready ecosystem for efficient goods movement, attract investments, and support economic growth, establishing Navi Mumbai as a logistics hub of national importance.”
The ILP complements CIDCO’s broader development of social infrastructure projects such as Educity, Medicity, Sportscity, and an Entertainment Arena, positioning Navi Mumbai as a well-rounded urban and economic centre.
