Mumbra: To support students with essential government documentation, Working Team Kausa Mumbra organised a two-day free assistance camp over the weekend at Almas Colony, Kausa, Mumbra. The camp specifically catered to students who recently passed their 10th and 12th grade examinations, helping them apply for crucial documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, domicile certificates, minority certificates, and residential proofs.
Over 70 to 80 students participated in the camp held on May 30 and 31. The initiative was particularly well-received in the community for being both timely and free of cost.
Speaking on the success of the event, Arshad Rizvi, a key coordinator from Working Team Kausa Mumbra, said, “Our goal is to make government services more accessible to every citizen, especially students who often struggle with paperwork due to lack of awareness or support. This camp is part of our ongoing efforts to bridge that gap.”
He further added, “We organize such camps every 15 days to ensure that no one is left behind in accessing vital documents required for education, employment, and other essential services.”
The event was made successful through the collective efforts of several volunteers and social workers including Saadab Khan, members of the Kindness Forever Foundation – Haider Saeed and Feroz Ansari – and renowned social activist Kalpana Suryavanshi, who were present during the camp.
