Virar: The Crime Branch unit-3 of Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar Police Commissionerate has arrested two persons in connection with the theft of cars and recovered two vehicles.

"Our team’s meticulous work led to the identification of two suspects — Irshad Baitulla Shah (30), and Hasan Kismat Sheikh (39), both residents of Nalasopara East," senior inspector Shahuraj Ranware said.

The duo had stolen a WagonR on May 13, 2025, from outside Faheem and Sons Rice Mill on Dange Wadi Road, Nalasopara West. The accused were detained on May 14, 2025. During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in the theft. The stolen car and the vehicle used in the crime were both recovered.
