'Utsav Marathi Bhashecha' calligraphy exhibition to be held in Navi Mumbai

The satellite city is all set to come alive with the vibrant hues of Marathi language as the 'Utsav Marathi Bhashecha' calligraphy exhibition will take centre stage, captivating audiences with its artistic portrayal of the language's essence. Renowned calligrapher Achyut Palav emphasized the significance of the exhibition as honouring Marathi language through calligraphy, aiming to instill a deeper appreciation for its cultural heritage, especially among the younger generation.

The exhibition, set to be held on February 27, 2024, at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk, Vashi, is a collaborative effort between the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy. Deputy Commissioner of NMMC's Solid Waste Management Department, Dr. Babasaheb Rajle, will inaugurate the exhibition.

Dignitaries including Somnath Potre, Deputy Commissioner of Circle 1 Division, Annasaheb Tekale, National Vice President of All India Senior Citizens Association, and various artists and calligraphers will grace the occasion, reflecting the community's collective enthusiasm for the Marathi language.

The exhibition, open until February 28 will feature captivating calligraphy pieces depicting works of renowned poets like Kusumagraj, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the literary splendour of Marathi language.
