Triple murder rocks Kasarvadvali Village

The town of Kasarvadvali on Thursday morning witnessed a horrific triple murder that claimed the lives of a woman and her two children at the hands of her intoxicated husband, sending shockwaves through the community.

The accused, identified as Amit Bagdi, purportedly engaged in a brutal act of violence using a wooden cricket bat, taking the lives of his wife Bhavna Amit Bagdi (24), their 6-year-old daughter Khushi, and 8-year-old son Ankush. The gruesome crime happened at the residence situated in Kasarvadvali village, stirring grief and disbelief among residents.

According to initial reports provided by Deputy Commissioner of Police Circle-5 Amar Singh Jadhav, the grisly act appears to have stemmed from domestic discord within the Bagdi family. Amit Bagdi, known to have a drinking problem, had been estranged from his wife and children, prompting Bhavna and the kids to seek shelter at the home of Amit's younger brother, Vikas Bagdi.

The tragic sequence of events happened when Amit, after a brief visit to his native village in Haryana, returned to Kasarvadavali. He arrived ostensibly to meet his estranged family but unleashed a ghastly assault, hitting his wife and children to death before Vikas discovered the horrifying scene upon returning from work.

Deputy Commissioner Amar Singh Jadhav, after an initial inspection at the crime scene, confirmed the registration of a murder case against Amit Bagdi at Kasarvadvali Police Station. While indications point to a family dispute as the cause, investigations remain ongoing to uncover any additional aspects.
