Thane Lok Sabha Constituency: 25 polling stations set up, election machines randomized online

In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Thane Lok Sabha Constituency has established 25 polling stations across its six assembly constituencies. Control units, ballot units, and V.V. Pat machines underwent randomization online, supervised by Central Election General Inspector J. Shyamala Rao, Thane Lok Sabha Constituency Election Returning Officer Manisha Jaibhaye-Dhule, and Assistant Election Returning Officer Urmila Patil.

Candidates contesting from the Thane Lok Sabha Constituency, along with their representatives, were present for the event. The constituency comprises assembly constituencies including 145 Mirabhainder, 146 Ovala Majiwada, 147 Kopri Panchpakhadi, 148 Thane, 150 Airoli, and 151 Belapur.

A total of 2,453 polling stations have been set up for the elections, equipped with 4,906 ballot units (including 1,200 reserved), 2,453 control units (including 1,020 reserved), and 2,453 V.V. Pat machines (including 1,191 reserved). The randomization process for all these machines was conducted under the supervision of General Inspector J. Shyamala Rao.

During the event, detailed scrutiny of the facilities provided at each polling station was also carried out, ensuring a seamless voting experience for citizens in the Thane Lok Sabha Constituency.
