Mumbai: Swastika Ghosh was awarded the prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Award for her outstanding achievements in table tennis.

The award was presented by Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis at a ceremony in Pune, in the presence of Governor CP Radhakrishnan and other dignitaries.

An international athlete and student of CKT College, Swastika has represented Maharashtra for over a decade and brought laurels to the state and country.

Backed by her father and coach Sandeep Ghosh, and supported by Loknete Ramsheth Thakur and Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Sanstha, Swastika continues to shine as a role model for young athletes.
