Srujan ke Rang organises Kavi Sammelan

Navi Mumbai: A grand Kavi Sammelan was organized by Srujan ke Rang, the pan-Indian literary, social and cultural organization. The programme was held in Samanvay Hall Vashi, Navi Mumbai on May 25.
Famous ghazal writer Dr Laxman Sharma Wahid was the chief guest, while Ram Pyare Singh Raghuvanshi, Pooja Alapuri, Aatmik Shridhar and Anil Kumar Rahi, the national president of Nav Kumbh Sahitya Seva Sansthan, were the special invitees. Prince Grover compered the programme.
The highlight of the event was the Srujan Ke Rang of five female writers – Dr Tiwari, Bittu Jain Sana, Seema Trivedi Saaj, Annapurna Gupta Sargam and Nandita Majhi Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Raghuvanshi lauded the women writers and said, “It is very pleasing to see the journey that women have traversed to bring their talent from kitchen to poetry.”
Compositions of almost every genre was read in the programme. Ghazals of Nidhi Shukla, Meenakshi, Taj Mohammad, Ashwini, Trilochan, Dayaram Dard, Dr Tiwari, Bittu Jain Sana added charm to the gathering.
Compositions dedicated to the army and the country by Annapurna Gupta Sargam and Lakshmi Yadav raised patriotic fervour.
The song dedicated to women by Sumitra, the humorous poem of Sindhuvasini, the free verse of Manoj Dubey, the poem dedicated to mother and father by Seema Trivedi and Vandana Srivastava, the romantic composition of Manju Gupta, Reema Dhiman, Rakesh Tripathi, Ashwini Umeed – overall the presentations of all were commendable.
