Senior Police Inspector Sanjeev Dhumal receives President's police medal for distinguished service

Navi Mumbai: Senior Police Inspector Sanjeev Dhumal of Rabale Police Station has been honoured with the President's Police Medal in recognition of his exceptional and meritorious service. Dhumal is the only member of the Navi Mumbai Police Force to receive this prestigious award, which will be presented to him by the Governor in the coming days.
Dhumal, originally from Poladpur in Raigad District, joined the police force as a Deputy Inspector in 1995. Over the years, he has served in various critical roles, including at Santacruz Police Station, Mumbai Crime Branch L-9 Bandra, and the Anti-Extortion Cell, where he was instrumental in solving numerous high-profile cases and taking action against underworld criminals.
In his tenure with the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate, Dhumal has excelled in maintaining law and order, serving notably at Vashi and Nhava Sheva Police Stations. His leadership during the last Lok Sabha elections ensured that no law and order issues arose in his jurisdiction. With over 250 awards to his name in his 30-year career, Dhumal's dedication and exemplary performance have earned him this esteemed recognition.
