RPI members celebrate as Ramdas Athawale assumes position of Union Minister

The atmosphere in Dombivli is charged with excitement as Ramdas Athawale, the National President of the Republican Party of India (RPI), was appointed as a Union Minister in the Modi government. In a display of reverence, floral wreaths were offered at the revered site of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's memorial. The Ambedkarite community rejoiced at Ramdas Athawale's elevation to the Union Cabinet, hailing it as a restoration of honour and recognition for their leader. To commemorate this momentous occasion, RPI workers organized a spirited rally on Monday evening, commencing with the unfurling of the blue flag by Shukracharya Gaikwad.
Led by Manik Bhoke, the rally saw enthusiastic participation from notable figures such as Kishore Magare, Sanjay Pawar, Vikas Khairnar, Tukaram Pawar, Vitthal Khedkar, Bhimrao Patekar, Ashok Shivale, Kachru, DP Hemant, Shinde Milind, Rahman, Bhimrao Patekar, Gunaji Bansode, Pramila Sawant, Vaishali Sawardekar, Chhaya Kamble, Meena Gore, Mangal Shelke, and other dignitaries.
As the procession reached the Indira Chowk on Kelkar Road, the atmosphere was electrifying. Women activists adorned themselves with balloons, adding to the festive spirit. Drumbeats and DJ music reverberated through the streets as RPI supporters, young and old, joined in the jubilation. The statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Indira Chowk was honoured with floral tributes, marking a moment of profound significance.
Expressing his elation, Manik Bhoke remarked, "We are thrilled that our leader Ramdas Athawale has been appointed as a minister. Athawale has tirelessly worked for the welfare of society, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to him on behalf of the party. Our dedicated cadre stands steadfastly by his side."
