Here is some pleasant news for the residents living on the east side of the Seawoods- Darave railway station, the Railway Administration has opened a new ticket window on the east side of Seawoods Darave railway station. This move comes after a strong demand was made on June 14, 2024, when commuters and local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) representatives threatened to protest if the window was not opened.

The railway administration promptly addressed the demand and committed to opening the new ticket window as soon as possible, leading to the withdrawal of the planned agitation. The railway administration inaugurated the eastern ticket window on June 19, 2024.

Ranjit Naik, a local leader, expressed his appreciation, stating, "All citizens, passengers, and Bharatiya Janata Party office bearers extend their heartfelt thanks to the railway administration for their prompt and positive response”.

The opening of this new ticket window is expected to significantly ease the commute for passengers, providing better access and reducing congestion at the station.
