Navi Mumbai News: CIDCO observes Right to Service Day with oath ceremony

Navi Mumbai: Marking the 10th anniversary of the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act (2015) CIDCO observed Right to Service Day with a pledge ceremony led by Vijay Singhal, vice chairman and managing director at CIDCO Bhavan on April 28.

Singhal administered the Service Rights Oath to officers and employees, reaffirming their commitment to timely and accountable public service. Ganesh Deshmukh, joint managing director, along with senior officials and staff, were present for the ceremony.

Enacted on April 28, 2015, the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act mandates the delivery of notified public services within a specified timeframe. Section 4 of the Act holds officers and employees responsible for meeting these service timelines. The Service Rights Commission, established under the Act, operates under the motto, “Your Service, Our Duty.”

CIDCO officers and employees collectively read and pledged the Service Rights Oath during the event.
