Ghansoli: Five buses, electric as well as diesel, were gutted in a fire at the Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) depot in Ghansoli in Navi Mumbai.

The blaze started at around 8 am on June 4. According to preliminary reports, the fire was triggered by a short circuit during repair work on one of the electric buses.

Firefighters from Kopar Khairane, Vashi, and Nerul rushed to the scene, swiftly bringing the fire under control.

Authorities have confirmed no injuries, and a thorough investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the fire.
