Receives good response from passengers

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has garnered significant passenger approval with its newly launched online ticket reservation system. Introduced on January 1, 2024, the system has facilitated the sale of 1,292,000 tickets by May 20, 2024. This marks a notable increase from the same period last year, which saw the sale of 975,000 tickets, indicating a rise of over 300,000 tickets.

Currently, the system processes approximately 10,000 tickets daily. This initiative aims to provide passengers the convenience of booking ST tickets from their homes. The online reservations can be made via the official website, public.msrtcors.com, and through the MSRTC Bus Reservation app available on mobile devices.

Significant updates and improvements were implemented in the system starting January 1, 2024, addressing and rectifying many of the previous issues. Consequently, the online reservation process has become more user-friendly and accessible for passengers. Additionally, the system now offers various concessions and advance reservations, including schemes for Amrit Jeshtha Nagarik, Jeshta Nagarik, Mahila Samman Yojana, and persons with disabilities.

To further encourage the use of these digital platforms, the MSRTC urges passengers to utilize both the official website and the MSRTC Bus Reservation App. For technical support during the reservation process, passengers can contact the 24-hour helpline at 7738087103. In case of issues related to payment gateways, such as not receiving tickets after payment, passengers can reach out to 0120-4456456, informed Abhijit Bhosle, the Public Relations Officer of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation.
