Autistic children and young adults had a gala time watching ‘Snow White’ movie show in a theatre. The event was organised as part of the Autism Month held in April.

The event was organised jointly by Forum for Autism (FFA), Ummeed Child Development Centre and Sunshine Autistic school joined hands with Cinepolis, Nexus Mall Seawoods for the movie screening.

“Most of them are unable to watch movies because of their sensory and other difficulties. Their families too miss out on the joy. To facilitate this, we organised this movie show,” Babita Raja, a member from FFA, said.

A grand cultural event to showcase their talents was held at the amphitheatre of the mall. “Parents only want support from the society in the form of better understanding-of autism, inclusion and accommodative attitude,” Babita added.
