The city continues to witness significant development as several projects inaugurated and new ones launched in Belapur Assembly Constituency, following the efforts of MLA Manda Mhatre. The recent projects in the CBD and Nerul divisions aimed at improving local infrastructure and facilities were met with enthusiasm by residents.

One of the major projects includes the development and beautification of Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Park in Sector-8B, CBD Belapur. The park is set to be transformed with a budget of Rs.15 crores under the Urban Settlement Improvement Scheme. The upgrade will feature modern amenities such as solar lights, a gazebo, LED global tunnel, a state-of-the-art entrance, a rock climbing wall, FRP walls, a selfie point, and unique lighting displays with gobo and web-type themes. This project aims to provide a "magic garden" experience, enhancing recreational spaces for local residents.

 The inauguration of the park’s development work has generated excitement among the Belapur residents, with many appreciating MLA Manda Mhatre's efforts to bring quality recreational facilities to the area.

Additionally, a Bhoomipujan ceremony was held for the construction of a Virangula Kendra (leisure centre) for senior citizens at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Udyan in Nerul’s Ward No. 84, with Rs. 20 lakhs allocated from the MLA Fund for the project. Local senior citizens participated in the event, marking the start of the initiative to provide a dedicated space for them.

Moreover, to enhance security in the Nerul area, Rs. 20 lakhs from the MLA Fund were used to install CCTV cameras in Sectors 2 and 4. The installation aims to create a security system, offering continuous monitoring similar to that seen in reality shows where contestants' performances are observed closely. The CCTV network is expected to improve safety and deter criminal activities in the locality.

During the function MLA Manda Mhatre reiterated her commitment to the development of Navi Mumbai, stating that these projects reflect her vision of modernizing the city’s infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
