Uttan: Development of small towns and rural areas is as important as development of metropolitan cities in the holistic growth of a country.

With the twin objectives of capacity building and training, Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) had organized a two-day Leadership Development Study Class for trustees, officer bearers, employees and volunteers of Sambhajinagar-based Savitribai Phule Mahila Ekatma Samaj Mandal.

In all 48 men and women representatives of the organization working in districts such as Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Latur, Nanded and Nandurbar participated in the workshop conducted in RMP’s Knowledge Excellence Centre in Uttan.

Beginning with the topic of leadership development, the participants were informed about time management, communication skills, innovation, creativity and professionalism in social work, stress management.

Prasanna Patil, Secretary, Phule Mahila Ekatma Samaj Mandal, said, “We wished to provide guidance from experts to our office bearers and volunteers on various aspects of leadership. This was achieved very well for two days in the serene surroundings of RMP and everybody felt inspired.”
