Passengers waiting at the KSRTC Kharghar Bus Stop, situated in front of Kharghar's Three Star Hotel in Sector 7, have voiced their concerns over its deteriorating condition, calling for urgent maintenance and roof repairs.

Enduring prolonged waits under the blistering sun, residents have said that the roof in particular is problematic as the sheets could cave in and fall at the bus stop.

Gajanan Patil, shared his experience on Twitter and also stated that this problem has plagued the bus stop since the last rainy season. He tweeted saying, “Stood for one hour at Kharghar bus stop, in very bad condition as it was raining heavily outside last year. The bus stop was also leaking, and the water pooling on the side was causing the presence of mosquitoes. Panvel Municipal Corporation, local representatives need to pay attention to this, citizens are suffering a lot.”

He added, “I hope that this is addressed this year before the rain begins.”

Aamir Mirza, a Kharghar resident from the Hiranandani area said, “The roof of this bus stop needs to be replaced as soon as possible and new metal sheets need to be installed in the roof. They can also come loose and fall onto passengers seated below. I hope the authorities fix this as soon as possible.”
