Ishaan Khatter has revealed that he had pushed back against multiple shirtless scenes in The Royals, streaming on Netflix. “I did fight with them, some scenes didn’t need it,” he said in a recent interview.
Playing a character averse to shirts, Ishaan admitted, “Since I’d committed, I went with it, but I protested when possible.”
He also trained for horse-riding scenes and shed 8-10 kilos for Homebound on director Neeraj Ghaywan’s request. While The Royals drew mixed reviews, with some critics slamming its writing and chemistry, it has already renewed it for a second season.
