Surpasses China
India has clinched a remarkable victory in the realm of Guinness World Records, setting a new benchmark by crafting a sentence with an astonishing 5,100 postcards at the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). This feat triumphantly surpasses the previous record held by China.
Amidst the bustling ambiance of CSMT, where the echoes of bustling footfalls and train announcements reverberate, India silently etched its name in history by creating the world's largest sentence composed of postcards.
The UNESCO World Heritage site, CSMT, steeped in architectural grandeur and historical significance, now stands as an integral part of this extraordinary Guinness World Record achievement.
The monumental endeavour saw 52 dedicated volunteers tirelessly working for 9 hours and 30 minutes to construct the phrase "सबमें राम...शाश्वत श्री राम।" (There is Ram in everyone...Eternal Lord Ram). This remarkable achievement surpasses the previous record set by Friesland Campina in Shanghai, China, which utilized 1,352 postcards and took 16 hours to complete with 20 participants.
This historic event is not merely a triumph of numbers but also a celebration of Indian culture, art, and literature. It marks the commencement of a grand and inclusive festival in Mumbai, supported by Indian Railways and various organizations. Over the course of three days, the festival will feature literary symposiums, visual arts, and performing arts, with participation from esteemed literary figures, artists, and dignitaries from India and abroad.
