Sunaina Roshan, sister of actor Hrithik Roshan, has opened up about her battle with alcohol addiction and her emotional rehab journey abroad. Despite her pleas to return early, Hrithik insisted she complete the 28-day programme. “I yelled at him, said they didn’t care,” she recalled, but added that his tough love was crucial to her recovery.

Sunaina admitted to drinking heavily, sometimes all day, until memory lapses scared her into seeking help. She chose overseas rehab, fearing Indian centres could offer easy access to alcohol. Hrithik’s support, she said, helped save her.
