Navi Mumbai: A signature campaign was conducted by the commuters at Ghansoli railway station to draw attention to the numerous problems faced by passengers. The initiative saw a significant response from the commuters, who voiced their concerns in large numbers.

Ghansoli railway station is plagued with several issues, including rainwater leakage on the platforms, an increase in the number of beggars, lack of drinking water facilities, and insufficient seating arrangements.

During the campaign the passengers criticized the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) for not maintaining the station since its construction, leading to a further deterioration of facilities.

A letter has been issued to the CIDCO Managing Director and the Police Commissioner's office, warning of potential agitation if these issues are not addressed. The signature campaign, led by Abhijit Patil, Krishna Patil, the Railway Pravashi Hitvardhak Mandal, and the Shiv Sai Group.
