Former Vice President of the Navi Mumbai Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sanket Doke, has joined the Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) party.

Doke, along with his supporters, publicly embraced the Shiv Sena on March 28, symbolically sealing the transition by tying the Shiv Bandhan at Matoshree, with party chief Uddhav Thackeray in attendance.
The event witnessed the presence of key figures including Shiv Sena leader Sushmatai Andhare, Navi Mumbai district president Dwarkanath Bhoir, district president Vitthal More, city chief Pravin Mhatre, Navi Mumbai leader MK Madhvi, and other office bearers.
This move holds significance in the political landscape, particularly in the Thane Lok Sabha constituency, which is a traditional stronghold for Shiv Sena.
The addition of Sanket Doke to the Shiv Sena ranks brings a fresh and dynamic energy to the party. Dwarkanath Bhoir, the District President of Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena, expressed optimism about Doke's entry, highlighting his organizational skills and oratory prowess as assets that will benefit the party in the upcoming elections.
