Five candidates file nomination papers for Raigad Lok Sabha constituency

As the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 gather momentum, the electoral landscape in the 32 Raigad Lok Sabha constituency sees the emergence of candidates vying for parliamentary representation. Electoral Returning Officer Kishan Javale announced that five nomination papers have been filed by hopeful candidates eager to contest in the upcoming polls.

Scheduled for the third phase of voting on May 7, candidates representing various political affiliations and independent aspirations. The candidates who submitted their nomination papers are: Anant Gite (Independent), Anant Baloji Gite (Independent), Anant Gangaram Gite (Shiv Sena) – (Supported by Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) (3 applications), Nitin Jagannath Mayekar (Independent), Aswad Jaydas Patil (Independent)

With the filing of nomination papers, the electoral arena in Raigad gears up for a spirited contest as candidates articulate their visions and agendas to the electorate.
