Amid escalating India-Pakistan tensions, both Dia Mirza and Sonakshi Sinha expressed their support for the Indian Armed Forces, though their messages sparked mixed reactions. Mirza, sharing a post praying for peace, faced criticism for focusing on peace rather than prioritising the elimination of terrorism.

In contrast, Sonakshi took to Instagram to condemn sensationalist media coverage, calling out exaggerated visuals and panic-inducing reporting. She echoed the Ministry of Defence’s plea for factual updates, urging people to avoid creating unnecessary fear. 

They have called for unity, peace, and responsible media conduct amid growing tensions and support for armed forces.
