Deepika and Prakash Padukone launch Padukone School of Badminton

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and her father, badminton legend Prakash Padukone, have unveiled the Padukone School of Badminton (PSB), aiming to nurture grassroots talent.

Announcing the initiative on Instagram, Deepika, a former national-level player herself, expressed hopes of promoting a healthier, sport-driven generation. PSB will roll out 75 coaching centres in 18 cities this year, scaling to 100 by year’s end and 250 within three years.

Prakash Padukone, mentor to the project, said that sport’s role in building resilience and discipline. The centres will offer certified coaching and aim to provide quality training.
