With crucial projects on the verge of being open to public, builders express optimistic sentiment

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India & Builders Association of Navi Mumbai - CREDAI BANM saw a good response on its second day of the property exhibition.

This flagship event has become a foundation in connecting developers and buyers, realizing the dreams and aspirations of countless families.

The mega property exhibition began on December 1st and will continue till Monday, December 4th, 2023, at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

The event offers visitors a unique opportunity to engage with developers and industry experts, gain insights into the latest market trends, and identify the best buying and leasing opportunities in various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, plotted developments, and holiday real estate.

While speaking to Newsband, Vasant M. Bhadra, President of CREDAI BANM said, “We have seen a good footfall this year of around 8,000 to 10,000 visitors per day. We have received enthusiastic feedback from all the participants. There have been several sales and on the spot bookings.”He added, “Once the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Bridge opens, residents from Colaba will be able to reach Mumbai in 25 minutes. Navi Mumbai will become a worldwide city once the airport is up and running. The property rates will increase. So far, customers have been only from Mumbai and surrounding areas, but now we are seeing customers from places like Delhi and Bangalore too. Employment is also increasing and Navi Mumbai is being recognised worldwide.”

He further said, “We are happy to see such a positive response. We reached out to the masses through all forms of media, such as digital, print, and electronic. The builders who exhibited on our platform have also been able to build better brand awareness. Builders and clients have been able to interact well in this four-day exhibition.”

Bhadra further added, “We hope that next year will be better as there are big projects such as the MTHL, Navi Mumbai Metro, and Navi Mumbai International Airport in the pipeline.”

While speaking to Newsband, Sanket Chougule, the HOD of the Marketing and Channel Sales of Paradise Group, which is the main sponsor of the event said, “We have received good response so far and have had several bookings. Sunday is our key focus. BANM is like a festival for Paradise Group and we showcase what theme-based living is. The completion of projects is going to help developers. There are new cities within cities. Panvel is a good example of that and Panvel is now recognised globally. Once the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link is ready, travel time will be cut short. There is high employment in this city. JNPA is also a convenient centre as a lot of cargo is handled when you speak about logistics.”

He added, “We have had more than 125 projects over 33 years of our existence. We wanted to showcase the European lifestyle and our projects to the customers.”

Chougule further said, “Hopefully, next year, the exhibition will be double in size with more footfall. Navi Mumbai is a well-planned city and a number of projects are in the pipeline. Navi Mumbai’s graph is steadily moving upwards. We look forward to next year when the Navi Mumbai Airport will be completed and the demand for properties will escalate further.”
