Speaking at the event held at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai, Chief Minister Shinde expressed that the district governance index would foster a competitive environment, driving comprehensive development across districts. He called upon every district administration to strive for excellence, ensuring a people-centric approach and equal development throughout the state.
"Activities like the 'Shasan Apna Dari' initiative are crucial to bringing the government closer to the people. Through indices like these, we aim to strengthen our ambitious efforts to deliver government schemes and benefits directly to the public," said Chief Minister Shinde. He urged District Collectors to work towards making their districts leaders in the Good Governance Index, instilling confidence in the people that the government is truly theirs.
