MP Rajan Vichare leads signature campaign

The citizens of Digha Gaon, along with Member of Parliament Rajan Vichare, expressed their frustration and demanded the immediate opening of the Digha Gaon railway station. Despite the station being fully constructed and ready for public use for the past six months, it has not been opened, causing anticipation and inconvenience for commuters.

To voice their concerns and push for action, a massive signature campaign was organized led by MP Rajan Vichare which saw participation of citizens and Shiv Sena members. The campaign took place at both Airoli and Digha stations, drawing a large number of participants who are eager to see the Digha Gaon railway station become operational.

Citizens participating in the signature campaign emphasized that the station's construction was funded by public money amounting to crores of rupees. As a result, they believe the government is accountable for providing an explanation for the delay in opening the station.

In response to the prolonged delay, MP Rajan Vichare has taken a decisive stance by writing letters to the Minister of Railways, the Minister of State for Railways, and the Prime Minister. In these letters, he urges for the immediate inauguration of the Digha Gaon railway station, highlighting the importance of addressing the concerns of the citizens and ensuring the efficient use of public resources.
