In a fervent plea for the utilization of the Digha Gaon railway station, citizens of the Digha village and Airoli have voiced their discontent. The station, which has been ready for operation for the past seven months, remains closed, prompting concerns among the local residents.
Under the guidance of Member of Parliament, Rajan Vichare, a delegation recently submitted a petition to Rajnish Goyal, the Chief Manager of Central Railway. The petition, containing signatures and reactions of citizens from both Digha Gaon and Airoli railway stations, was also forwarded to Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve.
MP Rajan Vichare, while addressing the railway administration, issued a stern warning that the Digha Gaon railway station, built by tax payers money, must be promptly opened for public use. MP Vichare emphasized that failure to heed this demand would force the citizens to take to the streets in a demonstration for their rights.
